Dear Sir,
On October 30th. we applied to the War Trade Dept. Broadway House, for permission to manufacture one of our Vertical Oil Engines for Kesers. Siemens China Electrical Engineering Co. Ltd., Hong Kong, and from an acknowledgment we received from the Chairman of this Department we understand that the matter has been referred to you for decision.
We have had no further communication since that date, and we shall be glad to know exactly how the matter stands, and whether it will be in order for us to proceed with the shipment of this Engine.
The machinery is in stock, and can be shipped immediately.
You will see from the enclosed copies of formal order that we have received the cheque for 2700 in payment of our account.
We shall esteem it a favour if you can see your way to let us have your reply within the next few days, and thanking you in anticipation,
